When I was 9 years old, that's how my hair was when my parents noticed (in their opinion) it was too long and I needed a haircut and we had a big augment at the dinner table. My bangs slid down over my eye down on my nose. My dad said "son you need a haircut" I said "No I don't" pleasantly. He then said "You're getting a haircut even if I have to drag your scrawny little ass to the barbershop and cut that mop off". I then said firmly and rather rude "NO! I ain't getting a haircut", got up, accidentally hit the edge of my plate and chicken legs went a flyin, ran to my bedroom yelling "I'm not cutting my hair, all my friends has long hair, it isn't too long. Almost 4 years later it was down to the middle of my back.
